Without uttering a word, a tall, slightly awkward man humorously navigates between his childhood imagination and the professional world of grown-ups. His dreams collide with what grown-ups confidently call “reality”.
Le Grand Réveil is a musical theatre show using bodies and objects that gently get us to look differently at what we do all day, whether we’re “little” or “big”. What do we aspire to? What does our day-to-day life consist of? Where is the path that would give meaning to all our actions? Do we need a big wakeup call to get the world to really explore these questions?
