Armed with her old analogue synths and her TR-707 drum machine, Eugénie Leber takes synth-pop and electro-dark chanson on a radical marathon of enigmatic, post-modern new-wave aesthetics, metronomic and uniquely catchy. Somewhere between Daniel Darc and Jacno, behind this name that smacks of Cold War aviation (Concordski was the nickname given to Concorde’s rival, the Tupolev Tu-144), she returns with a second EP, Salon des arts ménagers (2025) and a powerful live set, with all its cohort of synthesizers. One hell of an off-runway demonstration flight.

BIOGRAPHY
> CONCORDSKI (France)
A bassist for Edwards, AV and Marc Desse among others, Eugénie Leber discovered synthesizers in 2014 and embarked on a frantic quest to find sound and loops. She decided to use these machines to create songs with catchy melodies. Proper pop songs, with choruses, verses, fairly classic structures and an aesthetic that’s trashy enough to take you back to the garage rock she hails from. So she’ll be solo as Concordski, completely immersed in new-wave and ice-cold tack, like a perfectly honed post-modern project. With an eponymous debut missile (2022) launched on the WeWant2Wecord label, then re-released the following year in a version supplemented by three remixes, this year Eugénie Leber releases Concordski’s second LP, Houseware Show (2025), with its ever-retro-exotic imagery, post-apocalyptic industrial aesthetic and perfect compositions, produced with the Cartelle, WW2W and Silvebarbe labels, whose single L’incendie, already unveiled in 2024 on the compilation Cartelle vol.2.
