Dooinit festival, in partnership with Les Tombées de la Nuit, presents
Block Party
Food and games and music
For all ages

Block Parties, neighbourhood parties with music and soul food, played a key role in American hip-hop culture in the 1970s.

For its thirteenth edition, the Dooinit Festival is giving the people of Rennes the opportunity to get together for a barbecue, children’s games, and double-dutch, which developed in the United States around the same time. There will also be lounge chairs and a dance area.

As for the music, come dance to the sounds of Food For Ya Soul, two Swiss DJs based in Brussels, heavily influenced by the British scene, who dish out House, Jazz, Hip-hop, Soul and avant-garde electro music.

Vietnamese-born Swiss DJ, Ngoc Lan, will share her collection of unique and eclectic records, her communicative enthusiasm and technical skill.
