festival Autres Mesures, in partnership with Les Tombées de la Nuit, presents
Sarah Davachi
(Canada)
Organ meets electronic music
Contemporary music
For all ages / Free

Sarah Davachi’s projects are for the most delicate ears, for an intimate listening experience in dreamlike sound universe, where she takes the time to fully immerse the listener. With degrees from the University of Calgary and California’s renowned Mills College, the composer has made a name for herself with an instrumental approach based on the church organ blended with electronic sounds.

With Two Sisters, her latest double album released by Late Music, Sarah Davachi also demonstrates her writing skills for voice and choir, enriching her sound palette.

Based in Los Angeles, the Canadian has been acclaimed by the media and generously collaborates with intergenerational artists (William Basinski, Suzanne Ciani, Jessica Moss, Loren Connors, Alessandro Cortini, etc.)

To close out the Autres Mesures festival, Sarah Davachi (and a positive organ) will grace us with her minimalist, enveloping and timeless music at the Frac Bretagne
