Le Musée de la Danse in partnership with Les Tombées de la Nuit & Les Champs Libres presents
Mad about dance
Let's Dance
Mad about Dance (Fous de danse) was launched by the Musée de la Danse as an invitation to experience dance in all its forms through all practices. From midday to 10pm, the Charles-de-Gaulle esplanade will become our dancing community’s pop-up theatre.

The programme includes a collective warm-up with Boris Charmatz, a giant Soul Train and urban dance circles designed with Engrenage[s], traditional North African dances with Filipe Lourenço, Brittany fest-deiz dancing with the Guichen brothers and Krismenn & Alem, a duet by William Forsythe with Berlin company Dance On Ensemble, a cabaret with an Ivory Coast flare by Nadia Beugré, a collective dance proposed by Boris Charmatz, a famous quartet with Lucinda Childs by Ruth Childs, Boutures d’un Sacre by Clarisse Chanel and Marcela Corvalàn (with around forty children from Rennes), and to wrap it all up, a hot and happening dance floor event with Puzupuzu. Mad about Dance is an artistic event dedicated to dancing that aims to get all of Rennes in on the act.
