Stephanie Lüning is a German artist with an experimental approach to artistic expression, breaking the traditional bounds of painting. With Island Of Foam – Version XX 2022, she takes over public space and offers us a colourful foam bath that comes to life in unusual places. Using her foam machines, the artist creates live temporary works, selecting colours based on the place, for a hypnotic, spectacular and unique performance. The mountains of foam appear, grow, constantly change and then disappear. It’s a beautiful and spellbinding transformation of public space that explores the limits of painting.
