For its second edition, the GLAZ Festival, Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie, invites you to the GLAZ Photo Marathon, a fun and participatory event.
This Photo Marathon is open to anyone, children and adults alike, giving photography enthusiasts and amateurs the chance to explore Rennes in a fun and sensory way. Armed with a camera or smartphone, participants will be asked to take 6 photos on 6 different themes, which will be revealed throughout the day at La Parcheminerie (23 rue de la Parcheminerie, 35000 Rennes).
In the spirit of community, creativity and fairness, walking will be the only permitted form of transport. You’re welcome to come dressed up if you like as a special prize will be awarded to the most inventive outfit!
At the end of the event, the photos will be presented anonymously to a jury of photography professionals. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Sunday 23 November, at the close of the inaugural week of the GLAZ Festival. During the evening, all the photos will be displayed as part of a screening. The winning portfolios will then be displayed in the windows of Bessec stores.
