With fake news, virtual reality and artificial intelligence, technological advances offer new tools for manipulating reality, creating outbursts of opinion and emotion in the process. From 21 June to 21 July, Les Ateliers du Vent present COPYROOM, an exhibition dedicated to this very relevant notion of truth. Each in their own way, the guest artists (Mardi Noir, Nelson Bourrec-Carter, Considered To Be Allies, Alain Della-Negra & Kaori Kinoshita, Ophélie Demurger, Elisabeth Gomes-Barradas, Hugo Kostrzewa ) will intentionally create confusion between what is true and the false, real and the virtual. With copies, doubles, avatars and parallel worlds, COPYROOM invites us to dwell on the fiction of being both real and/or fake. Alongside the exhibition, enjoy round-table discussions, screenings, DJ sets and other events.
