In the early 90s, new wave icon from Live Skull, Thalia Zedek, and Chris Brokaw, who had just left Codeine (a band that foreshadowed the future of post rock) decided to play around with their teenage influences and their love of Gun Club and Television. In four essential albums released by the Matador label, they brought their guitars together around catchy and heartbreaking melodies, heralding the swamp rock revival later carried by the Drones and Bambara. To coincide with the re-release of their respective albums, they have decided to play live again. It is therefore with great pleasure that Kfuel and Des Pies Chicaillent have joined forces to offer you this timeless experience, and the only date in western France for this mythical and totally cult band. The Rennes-based trio, Février, will open the show with their heady, raw melodies.
