MO Compagnie
(France)
Theater and performance choreography

Like all Morgan Davalan’s work, this new dance, theatre and video piece was designed to be performed in public space. The MO Compagnie questions the relationship between oil and conflict in the Middle East. With a TV-style immersive reality, IMPRÉGNATION turns voices and bodies into the loudspeakers of a physical reality. At the heart of this circular performance, the black gold flows, with sounds invading space and human actions colliding. Effects are repeated like a call-and-response, just as in today’s 24-hour news society.
