A nerd is any single-minded or highly intellectual yet socially inept young person. The idea of these four is to create a dissonance between the attitude of uptight, anti-social and awkward young guys and fun popular music.

WaldisNerds
WaldisNerds delves into the animated pictures of Walt Disney, from its first full-length films to the present day, in a musical journey that retraces eighty years of music etched into the collective memory. Children and adults alike recognise and sing the theme songs over the course of a family-friendly concert played out in the form of a music quiz. “Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, look for the bare necessities and let it go for the circle of life…”. These nerds are funny, generous and upbeat.
BIOGRAPHY
This explosive cover band from Namur and Brussels has four members (three wind instruments and a little mobile drum set): Eric Vandervelde (drums), Sébastien Van Hoey (trombone), Christophe Collignon (sousaphone), and Marti Melià (saxophone). With their off-beat pocket Cover Brass Band, they play covers of all the hits, from Brittney Spears to Pharrell Williams and the Rocky soundtrack. With their WaldisNerds project, the four musicians retrace the musical history of Walt Disney’s animated films.
