In this show dedicated to his sister, who died on 24 September 1995, Julien Andujar presents an autobiographical fiction, a documentary tale and a cabaret act. In a play that is at once serious and whimsical, funny and moving, playing with multiple identities, he flirts with death and love to bring out the full beauty of his sister’s name.
Conceived outside the theatre, and presented in two episodes for two venues in Rennes, this serial form of Tatiana sees Julien Andujar play with space and context to summon different characters in search of Tatiana: the gendarme, the journalist, the lawyer, the best friend, the mother, the brother… Drawing on his experience of cabaret and as a performer, he embodies, imitates, summons ghosts and experiences his own metamorphosis, from the 11-year-old pre-adolescent he was then to the 38-year-old performer he is today.
With a front row seat to this intimate moment, watching the construction of an autobiographical fiction, between the reality of the news item and the imagination of the little boy in search of a dreamlike escape, you are invited to create your own relationship with Tatiana. Captivating.
