Conceived alongside local residents, community groups and artists, this Dimanche en famille, organised by the Dounia company, transforms the Villejean neighbourhood into a massive hub for creativity, sharing and celebration. Project showcases, visual arts, a children’s show, a community village, roaming performances and a participatory dance circle all bear witness to a festival built hand-in-hand with its local community.
On the programme: the unveiling of a collaborative graffiti piece created by artist Yoann Cinz with locals and the youth of Villejean; a youth concert featuring Algerian rapper Omar Paco; the all-ages show Le Voyage de mon père… mon départ by writer and actor Michel Djiwonou; screen-printing workshops with Mehdi Boubekeur; a massive participatory dance circle featuring local dancers and artists, and much more.
Throughout the afternoon, you will also find play areas, chill-out zones, a world tea bar, a Moroccan massage space with Ghizlaine Kabbabi, and plenty of other surprises.
