An immersive bovine-level concert for a single spectator

Continuing her site-specific musical explorations, contemporary pianist and composer Gwen Rouger invites us aboard a livestock trailer transformed into a concert hall for one spectator only, for an artistic encounter centred on cows. This immersive performance for concrete sounds and solo piano — both conventional and prepared — takes the form of a fascinating twenty-five-minute musical journey, a genuine aesthetic and sensory experience that unsettles our relationship to non-human living beings.
