Photographic pulsations

As part of photography’s bicentenary, GLAZ – Rencontres photographiques de Rennes has partnered with the LUX Network to host a leg of the LUX Tour, bringing its mobile analogue caravan-laboratory to the heart of the network’s member festivals for the weekend.

In Rennes, discover À l’origine du cœur, an immersive photographic experience dreamt up by the Trigone collective. Bound by a shared passion for both documentary and fine-art photography, the collective explores a visual argument around societal inequalities and the shocks they produce.

The À l’origine du cœur photographic performance offers a new visual landscape rooted in the innate, omnipresent beating of the human heart. Step inside Trigone’s mobile analogue lab—an intimate space housed in a 1970s caravan—and watch your own heartbeats transform into a unique photographic print! A space for poetic revelation and a cross-disciplinary experiment, À l’origine du coeur invites you into “a profound introspection on the very nature of living things, the body and its representation.”
